Print is where I got my foundation, and honestly it is still one of my favorite things to do. There is something satisfying about designing a brochure that actually gets picked up and read — where the grid, typography, and imagery all work together across every page without the reader even noticing.
I work in Adobe InDesign for all layout work, building everything from simple single-fold flyers to multi-page brochures and pamphlets. I always start from the brand guidelines and build outward — making sure fonts, colors, and hierarchy stay consistent so the printed piece feels like it belongs to the same family as everything else the brand puts out.
I also handle the production side myself. Setting up print-ready files with proper bleeds and crop marks, prepping files to spec, and following up with vendors to make sure what comes off the press actually matches what I designed. I have been burned enough times by printers to know that file prep and vendor communication are just as important as the design itself.
